Still creating fond memories for children, Storybook Island in Rapid City is one of a kind. Founded in 1959 by the Rapid City Rotary Club, Storybook Island is celebrating it’s 59th Birthday on August 16th 2018. My first visit to Storybook Island was back in 1978 and my mom snapped a photo of me and my brother Mark helping The Crooked Man – I think he was heading to his mailbox.
