The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks’ is hosting free fishing and entrance to all state parks and recreation areas.
May 12: Mother’s Day
May 17-19: Traditional State Park open house and free fishing weekend
June 16: Father’s Day
State law requires people to purchase a license to fish in the state, but during the dates above the public can fish free of charge and without buying a license.
