Over the years there have been Black Bear sightings around the Black Hills. I heard of another Black Bear siting earlier this summer from someone in Spearfish who spotted a Black Bear in his yard, in town.

Big news from South Dakota! Woke up this morning at 6am ! To Mr Reid answering his phone ! Our neighbor just down the road from our cabin sent him these pictures!!! Dallas said
“Just FYI!” A bear in the hills! 😱😳wow!!!!!! We have heard about people spotting bears but nobody really believed people lol
